If the flag is out, the farm stand is open! Stop by the big white tent at the Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm, 3005 Youngs Avenue, Southold to support the Farms for the Future Farmers. Now in its second year, the farm stand provides farmers in our incubator program at Charnews Farm to have a retail space to sell their products. This is an important step to making farming a financially viable career.
Participating farmers include Akio Shoji, Coastal Roots Farm, Fire for Effect Farms, Hampton Oyster Company, Heirloom Taste, Priscilla’s Farm, and Sweet Woodland Farm. Available products include a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower plants, herbal products, honey, berries, sunflowers and oysters. There will be many more products to choose from throughout the season. All of the participating farms produce and/or process at Charnews Farm!
