Description
Peconic Land Trust seeks a part-time seasonal Groundskeeper to work at Quail Hill Preserve in Amagansett.
Groundskeeper will be responsible for:
- General upkeep of orchard, fences, gates
- Maintenance of membership check-in stand
- Weekly mowing and weed-wacking; fence line clearing and repairs
20 hours per week, Beginning May 1 and ending October 31.
Requirements
- Safe operation of Weed Wacker, push mower, ride-on mower, chainsaw, bar saw/limb trimmer
- Valid drivers’ license
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repairs for 2-cycle tools and hand tools
- Able to work independently and take written and spoken instructions in English or Spanish
- Attention to detail
