Have you noticed all the activity in the fields! The 2021 growing season is upon us and the Trust staff has been busy working with the many farmers who lease land from the Trust.
This year, we are working with 38 different farmers on over 200 acres of farmland. The farmland covers the East End from Edwards Farm in Orient on the North Fork to the Deborah Light Preserve in Amagansett on the South Fork. The Trust also manages the leases for the Sisters of St. Joseph in Brentwood. See below for a full list of farmers leasing from the Trust as part of our Farms for the Future Initiative.
